South African "Oscar Pristorious formally charged with Premeditated murder"

The double amputee, know as the blade runner, has been formerly charged with premeditated murder as prosecutors claim he shot his girlfriend 3 times as she was in the bathroom in his house.

Oscar broker down in tears, while is lawyer told  the court that killing was "nor murder".

The prosecutor Mr Gerrie Nel told the court that Mr Pistorius got up, put on his prostheses, walked seven metres and fired his gun through the bathroom door.

He shot for time and Reeva Steenkmap took 3 of the bullets which led to her untimely death.

His Lawyer Barru Roux, told the court that his client did  not know in advance who was behind the door. He said the prosecutor had not provided any evidence of the alleged "premeditated murder".

Such a s sad story, i imagine Oscar will not be getting much sympathy today as Ms Reeva Steenkamp will be buried today in South Africa.
