Nigeria Foreign workers kidnapped in Bauchi today

Seven worker have been kidnapped  and the a security man was shot dead at a construction site in Bauchi a state located at the Northern part of Nigeria.



The workers kidnapped are a combination of Italian, Lebanese and Greek. The raid initially started by an attack on the local police station, when two vehicles were blown up in the town Jama'are, which is 125miles 
(200km) north of the state capital, Bauchi.

They moved further on to Setraco camp belonging where they killed the guard and seized the workers. Setraco is a construction company that is currently expanding a major road in the area.

The kidnapping of foreigners and wealthy Nigerians is common in the oil-rich Niger Delta region, in the south of the country, and has become a lucrative trade for criminals.
